THE POWER CORE
Advance behind enemy lines and destroy their Power Core. Demolished Cores are worth more points than individual enemy eliminations, so take out Cores to put more points on the scoreboard. A destroyed Core will regenerate after a brief reconstruction period.
Activate the Shields to protect your Power Core from outside attacks. To equip your Shield, use your hand to hold the Shield button on the command terminal in your base. Lower the enemy’s defenses by activating the Override Shield button located in open territory.
Upgrade your weapons to deal more damage. Locate the weapon pickups throughout the map to use grenade launchers, rocket launchers, and shotguns. Collecting a weapon pickup will add it to your arsenal; use the touch-pad on the back of your hand-held controller to swipe through your options and equip different weapons. If you are eliminated, you will lose all weapon pickups before you respawn into the game.
Coordinate your attacks and master the map to come out as champion. Teleporters transfer matter from one point to another, simply walk onto a telepad to instantly transport yourself to another part of the map. Or, zip through the raging battle by going for the ride of your life on the zipline. When on a landing pad, look up and grab the handle with your hand. Brace yourself and feel the exhilaration.
Press the rocket-jump button on the front of your controller to blast into the air. While rocket-jumping, propel yourself onto ledges before your fuel runs out by walking while holding the button down.
To help you navigate, there is a map in the Dead Zone. Take some time to study it before respawning back into the game.
