INVERSE Update 0.70 – New Perks

Updated on 04/18/2024

INVERSE v0.70 introduces new Agents perks, updates to the Holoshield, the introduction of fling tokens for the Reaper and more!

General Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • The extermination phase (phase 2) is no longer timed. To win, the Agents or the Nul must completely eliminate the other team.
  • During the Terminal phase (phase 1), completed terminals now award an extra 60 seconds to the clock.

Agents & AI

  • New perks added:
    • The New Model: Defibs charge 50% quicker and revive on the first try.
    • Short Circuit: Increase the frequency and speed of terminal skill checks, as well as the completion bonus to make it faster to complete terminals.
    • Lone Wolf: Gain a 1.5 walking speed boost when no other Agents are around, but lose the ability to sprint.
    • Deflective Shell: When the Nul attacks you, they will get knocked back. There is a 1 second cooldown for this perk.
    • Medicine Man: Using either a healing or adrenaline boost syringe will give you the effects of both.
  • Updated perks:
    • Pulsing Vitals has been removed and added as a base feature for Agents.

Nul & AI

  • The Reaper now has a fling token system to balance the ability to fling across the map.
    • The Reaper has up to 5 tokens to use to fling themselves across the map.
    • Tokens will recharge over time.
  • The Kibbler’s Charged Dash ability will spawn a small ground slam when the Kibbler dashes into a wall or other large obstacles.

Loadout Equipment and Map Items

  • The Holoshield has been modified to be more useful and versatile:
    • The Holoshield orb now has a more distinct look from the Trap Mine orbs.
    • Throw a Holoshield onto any flat surface to activate a protective barrier.
    • When activated, the holo shield will deploy a bubble barrier that prevents the Nul from getting inside. If the Nul touches the barrier, they will be knocked back away from the holo shield.
    • Each activation lasts 13 seconds and can be used to block paths and doors, protect terminals, provide cover when reviving downed teammates, and more!
